The first meeting of the European Parliament Interest Group (EPIG) on Biomedical Engineering was sucessfully held on May 30, 2016 in Brussels with the support of IFMBE.

Interesting presentations were followed by lively discussions. The action points accepted by the  chair of the EPIG MEP Mr Caputo are excellent first steps towards full recognition of BME in European policy and funding instruments.
