The Joint 20th Nordic-Baltic Conference on Biomedical Engineering and the 24th Polish Conference on Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering (NBC 2025 & PCBBE 2025) will take place from June 16-18, 2025 in Warsaw, Poland.
The conference is co-sponsored by the International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering, the Committee of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the Polish Society for Biomedical Engineering (PSBE). However, despite the name of the conference suggesting a regional focus on the Nordic-Baltic countries and Poland, this conference expects participation from all over the world. We assume wide participation of scientists, healthcare professionals, leaders from the medical technology industry and students.
The NBC 2025 & PCBBE 2025 is organized by the Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering, Polish Academy of Sciences (IBBE PAS). Both IBBE PAS and PSBE are members of EAMBES.
The scientific program of the conference will be built with the highest standards in mind, thanks to the guidance of an esteemed International Advisory Board and a Scientific Program Committee composed of leading experts in the field of biomedical engineering. A wide range of topics will be covered – from biocybernetics and medical imaging to AI in healthcare, wearable technologies, and beyond. Full versions of accepted papers will be published in IFMBE Proceedings. There will be also possible to submit abstracts which will be made available in the book of abstracts.
The union of NBC 2025 and PCBBE 2025 offers a unique opportunity for collaboration among researchers and practitioners from the Nordic-Baltic region and from the rest of the world. These conferences have historically brought together great minds in biomedical engineering, and this year will be no exception. With two powerful conferences in one, we expect fruitful exchanges, fresh perspectives, and new partnerships that can help "Engineer the Future of Health", which is the motto of the conference.
