CASEIB is the yearly major focused conference of Biomedical Engineering to be held in Spain. This edition is organized by the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering (SEIB) and the University of Zaragoza, with the main venue being the School of Engineering and Architecture (EINA). During three days, CASEIB 2025 will provide a unique space for the dissemination and exchange of the latest scientific and technological advances in Biomedical Engineering, and designed to foster interdisciplinary collaborations among researchers, professionals, students, and companies in the health technology sector. Call for papers encourages paper submissions for both full papers and extended abstracts. The scientific program will include plenary lectures, oral and poster sessions, as well as three special sessions on focused topics: Neurotechnologies, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine. The program also hosts a panel session focused on the recognition of the biomedical engineer profession at hospital settings, and an entrepreneurship satellite event organized by SEIB and the Spanish Federation of Health Technology Companies (Fenin), which includes elevator pitches from different companies. CASEIB takes care of young researchers by including a BSc student paper competition (SEIB-Fenin Award), a PhD student paper competition (Prof. Jose M. Ferrero Corral Award) and awards to the best PhD Biomedical Engineering Thesis and Journal paper published in 2024. Zaragoza, a city with a long university tradition, a fascinating history, and vibrant cultural diversity, will undoubtedly enrich this new edition of CASEIB.
