The European Commission has launched a public consultation on a “Draft proposal for a revised block exemption for technology transfer agreements and for revised guidelines”.
The Council elections regularly closed on Feb 28th, 2013. We are happy to announce that all the candidates that run for the elections have been duly elected members of the EAMBES Council.
On 18 and 19 February 2013, the Council of Ministers dealing with “Competitiveness” in their home countries held a policy debate on the need to develop a broader and more rapid access to scientific publications in order to help researchers and businesses to build on the findings of publicly funded research.
In the January edition of the EAMBES newsletter, the EC Communication on the “Entrepreneurship 2020 Action Plan: Reigniting the entrepreneurial spirit in Europe” was discussed. As it was mentioned, the Entrepreneurship Action Plan, if adequately implemented, has the potential to free up capital and provide funding support to start-ups and SMEs.
On 26 February 2013, a hearing was organised by the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) Committee of the European Parliament to discuss the Commission’s proposals for a Medical Devices Regulation and for a In-Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation.
